The Ambtmanshuis is a monumental building in the Dutch city of Tiel. Behind it lies a landscape garden from around 1860, designed by K.G. Zocher (1796-1863). The adjacent garden at the town hall dates from 1997. Next to it is another traditional 19th century garden, probably also by K.G. Zocher.

The order for the construction of a house on this site was given in 1525 by Adriaan van Bueren, civil servant, dike count and judge of the Neder-Betuwe. This building was probably not completed and the materials were used by order of Karel van Gelre for defenses of the city of Tiel. From 1550 onwards, construction continued in phases by successive officers from Tiel and the Neder-Betuwe. The building was expanded twice at the end of the 16th century. The kitchen dates from the 17th century.
The Ambtmanshuis has been part of the town hall complex since 1996. The building houses the offices of the mayor and aldermen and the wedding hall. The wedding hall was restored in 2011 in the style of the eighteenth century.

The Ambtmanstuin has many trees, special deciduous trees and various conifers, from around 1860 with a real 19th century atmosphere. The Hoogeboomtuin is a landscape garden to which flowering trees and shrubs, many conifers and Aucubas e added later in the garden. Compared to the Ambtmanstuin, this garden has a more open character. The Ambtmanstuin is already a municipal monument. In 1997 Dr. L.H. Albers, ir A. Guinee and B. Heinrichs a recovery plan for these gardens. Well-known is the Zocher garden located between the Achterweg and the Ambtmanstraat. In the garden there is also a tea house and a neoclassical coach house / orangery.
