On top of this piceture one should read the following explanation IN ENGLISH:
    >>>>
The tide-clock of the National Towage Museum in Maassluis.

The singular one hand of this unique clock is intersecting a polar projection of the local tide curve ( Maassluis ).
It tells us the relative water heights: The hand straight up, high water (HW) and down, low water ( LW )
One actually can see the water rise ( hand will be moving up on the left side) and fall again (right side) which happens twice every 24 hrs and approx. 50 minutes.
The clock follows the tide extremely accurate with perhaps a deviation of only max.two minutes.
It is therefore the most accurate tide clock in te world.
This ‘instrument’ is desiged by Jacob Venker, The Netherlands.
