Watertaxi Rotterdam provides all public transport by water in the Dutch cities of Rotterdam and Schiedam. On request, their skippers can take people to 50 different stops in their operating area. In addition they operate multiple permanent ferry services in the Rotterdam region.

In 2023, the fleet consisted of 24 water taxis, 7 of which run on renewable energy. The water taxis are manned by skippers from the Schippers Centrale Rotterdam. Many of them also work on tugs, barges and patrol boats and are therefore fully qualified to navigate on the Nieuwe Maas, one of the world’s busiest rivers.

On a water taxi people can see the Rotterdam skyline from the water. Depending on the departure stop people will be able to see most of the highlights in just half an hour, including the Euromast, ss Rotterdam, Erasmusbrug and a part of the historic Waalhaven.
